PT Saraswanti Anugerah Makmur Tbk (SAMF) throughout 2021 recorded a profit for the year, reaching Rp171.14 billion, or an increase of around 45.20% compared to the same period the previous year of Rp117.86 billion.

SAMF President Director Yahya Taufik said apart from profit; sales increased 31.45% to Rp1.85 trillion compared to the same period in 2020 of Rp1.41 trillion.

“The year 2021 is full of challenges for the Company. We are required to fulfill all contracts during the very difficult Covid-19 pandemic. We are grateful that we could go through this difficult year very well and proudly,” he said in a written statement in Jakarta Thursday (21/4).

He explained that 2021 is the 2nd year of the outbreak of Covid-19 in Indonesia, where the Company has faced various obstacles and challenges during the pandemic. However, the increase in palm oil prices during 2021 increases the demand for fertilizers.
In these challenging times for the Indonesian economy throughout 2021, SAMF is grateful that performance is getting better.

“At the end of the 2021 financial year, the Company recorded higher sales and net profit figures than 2020,” he explained.

According to Yahya, the Company is optimistic that the performance in 2022 will be better, but there will also be more challenges.
“We sincerely hope that the conflict between Russia and Ukraine ends soon,” he said.

This year, SAMF plans to increase its factory capacity. With the addition of this installed capacity, the Company is expected to increase sales volume, higher than in 2021.
