PT Saraswanti Anugerah Makmur Tbk (the “Company”) today officially listed its shares on the Indonesia Stock Exchange with the stock trading code “SAMF.” This listing is a continuation of the Company’s successful Initial Public Offering (“IPO”) of 775,000,000 new shares or equivalent to 15.12% of the Company’s Issued and Fully Paid-up Capital after the IPO. The new shares were offered at Rp120/share, so the total IPO funds raised amounted to Rp93 billion.
Along with the IPO, the Company also provided a fixed allotment of 22,639,400 shares to employees of the Company and its Subsidiaries (“ESA Program”), which aims to provide incentives and increase employees’ sense of belonging to the Company and motivate employees to work harder in supporting the Company’s operations and expansion. The shares under the ESA Program are locked up for 2 (two) years.
President Director of the Company, Yahya Taufik, expressed his gratitude that despite the global, regional and domestic conditions that are not conducive due to the threat of the Coronavirus (Covid-19), the book-building and public offering process has run smoothly. In addition, the high public enthusiasm for the Company’s IPO shows the public’s trust and high expectations of the capital market in general and specifically of the Company’s business prospects.
The Company will use approximately 49.78% of the fresh funds obtained to fund the capital expenditure needs of its Subsidiaries to increase production capacity. Such capital expenditures include purchasing production machinery, supporting machinery including installation and construction, and repair and/or maintenance of supporting facilities from Third Parties. The remaining 50.22% will be used for the Company’s working capital and its Subsidiaries.
Throughout 2019, the Company estimates that it was able to record sales of Rp1.28 trillion (unaudited) or grew 6.52% compared to the previous year, with net profit in the range of Rp95.80 billion (unaudited), or grew by 11.73% compared to the previous year.
