PT Saraswanti Anugerah Makmur Tbk (“SAMF”) has decided to pay a dividend of Rp52,787,500,000, which will be distributed as a cash dividend of Rp10.30 per share. This was agreed at SAMF’s Annual General Meeting of Shareholders (AGM) held today, Friday, June 26, 2020, in Jakarta.

In 2019, SAMF managed to obtain a net profit of Rp86,830,807,610. President Director of SAMF, Ir. Yahya Taufik stated that the remaining net profit for the year ended December 31, 2019, will be recorded as retained earnings.

During 2019, SAMF experienced challenges, namely the decline in CPO prices until the end of the Q3/2019 quarter. This impacted the decline in fertilizer demand caused by reduced demand or delays in fertilization schedules for some plantations. However, in the last quarter of 2019, CPO prices increased, thus boosting demand again.

“Although in 2019 we experienced obstacles in the form of a decline in CPO prices, we experienced an increase in revenue of 6.5% compared to the previous year.” Said Ir. Yahya Taufik.

Not only the determination of the use of net profit, at the AGM this time, SAMF also set several agenda items, namely discussing the approval of the Annual Report of the Board of Directors, the Board of Commissioners Supervisory Task Report, and the ratification of SAMF’s Balance Sheet and Income Statement for the financial year ended December 31, 2019.

SAMF also appointed a Public Accountant Firm to conduct an Audit of SAMF’s Financial Statements ending December 31, 2020, and the determination of the salary or honorarium and other benefits for members of the Board of Directors and Board of Commissioners.
