PT Saraswanti Anugerah Makmur Tbk (SAMF) will distribute dividends for the 2021 fiscal year of IDR85.573.019.744. The dividend will be distributed as a cash dividend of IDR16,70 per share. The decision was agreed upon at the SAMF Annual General Meeting of Shareholders (AGMS), held today, Wednesday, June 15, 2022, in Surabaya.
SAMF achieved a profit for the year of Rp171.14 billion in the 2021 financial year. During the GMS, the President Director of SAMF, Ir. Yahya Taufik, stated that the remaining profit for the year will be recorded as retained earnings.
SAMF faced a big challenge in 2021. However, SAMF is fully committed to fulfilling all contracts during a challenging pandemic for the Indonesian economy. SAMF is grateful to be able to go through the crisis brilliantly. It is reflected in sales figures which increased by 31.45% to IDR1.85 trillion compared to the same period in 2020 of IDR1.41 trillion.
Entering 2022, although it is estimated that global economic conditions are not good, SAMF remains optimistic that its performance will improve due to the high demand for fertilizers.
Not only the determination of the use of net income, but SAMF also set other agendas at this AGMS, namely the approval of the Board of Directors’ Annual Report, the Board of Commissioners’ Supervisory Report, and ratification of the SAMF’s Balance Sheet and Profit and Loss Report for the financial year ending December 31, 2021.
SAMF also appointed a Public Accounting Firm to carry out an audit of SAMF’s Financial Statements ending on December 31, 2022, determination of salary or honorarium and other benefits for members of the Board of Directors and Board of Commissioners, and changes in the composition of members of the Board of Directors and Board of Commissioners.
